職場のイギリス人に「女子力ってなに？」と聞かれたので説明したら凄く驚いていた。英語圏にも「Girl Power」という言葉があるが、Girl Powerは「男や他人に媚びず、自立した生き方を貫く若い女性」を指す言葉で、日本の女子力とは正反対の意味だそうだ。色々と考えさせられる。
